Established in 2020, Proyash Welfare Association is more than just an organization; it’s a movement. A vibrant community of young minds fueled by a passion for creating Vikshit India by 2047. Inspired by the profound philosophies of Sourashis Ghosh and Swami Atmisha Chaitannya, we believe that every individual deserves a life of dignity and purpose. We are deeply rooted in “Shiva Jnane Jiva Seva,” which focuses on creating sustainable change through quality education, good healthcare, livelihood programmes & charitable initiatives across all districts of West Bengal.
OUR STORY :
Began on October 28, 2020, just two days after Durga Puja, when seven friends from Naihati set out on a mission to make a difference. Then Embrace a humble initiative “Proyash Naihati”.Now we evolved into the vibrant “Proyash Welfare Association.” From our modest beginnings with only seven members, we quickly grew to 33, and today, we proudly stand as a community of over 100 passionate individuals. Our journey has been marked by challenges and triumphs, yet our unwavering commitment has earned us the affection of many. We proudly embrace the mantra “AMRA KORBO JOY” (We Will Achieve Victory), reflecting our resolve to build a stronger future together
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to empower the underprivileged. We do this by providing access to education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities. Our approach is holistic, addressing the root causes of poverty and inequality. As a government-registered, non-commercial, apolitical organization, we focus on youth empowerment, holistic development, and community engagement. Our initiatives include educational support, innovative healthcare, and market-focused livelihood programs, all aimed at fostering active societal participation and creating a more equitable and compassionate community.
